About the Chef

Chef Christian André Pettersen is the most decorated competitive chef in Norwegian history, and one of the most decorated in the world. Born in Bodø, north of the Arctic Circle, with a Norwegian chef for a father and a Filipino mother, he creates food at the intersection of two culinary traditions — Nordic precision with Asian instinct. He began cooking at the age of six, side by side with his father at the stove, and has since spent his years on the international competition circuit.
