Boat Explorations
To understand Andørja, sometimes you need to see it from the water. Leave the lodge behind and explore the surrounding islands, fjords and mountains by boat.
Go ashore in beautiful places far from roads and crowds. Visit small coastal communities. Search for wildlife. Discover hidden coves and beaches. Or simply stay aboard and watch the landscape unfold.
Island Safari
Andørja Lodge is your base camp for the Arctic. We have curated experiences and locations in the surrounding archipelago to fit your activities. Run the trails of the neighbouring islands. Reach the summits from Senja, by skis or foot. Ride down the mountain sides in Rolla. The Arctic is at your feet, and just a boat ride away.
The Journey to the Lodge
If the weather allows it, the final part of your journey takes place by boat – leaving everyday life behind as you move through a landscape of islands, fjords, open water and steep mountains. Getting here is not simply transportation. It is part of the adventure.
